Former Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hussain Waheed warns that an unclear number of foreign army and spies present in the Maldives, could cause anything at any given time.

Through a Facebook post, the former Commissioner of Police shares that it is unsure about the tranquility of the country due to unlimited foreign army and spies allowed to work in the country. He also questions whether any other country allows an unlimited number of foreign armies in their country.

He mentioned that carrying a weapon or not is not a problem but for a soldier, anything can be a weapon at any time, and it's unfortunate for denying this. From his Facebook post, he has also raised concerns over the fact that if the country allows unlimited foreign army to enter the country, it will no longer be difficult to bring in weapons as well.

Mr. Hussain Waheed further included in his post that drugs smuggled to the country does not indicate that it is drugs and likewise weapons can be brought in. He concluded his statement saying that the people who taught everything are going against what they taught, which is betraying the country same as those who betrayed the country before.
