In a joint statement by the PPM and PNC party, the case against the former Islamic Minister Dr. Ahmed Ziyad is just a made up accusation against him. Statement requests the government to take back the corruption case against Dr Ziyad.

Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) of the Maldives has sent the investigated corruption case to the Prosecutor General (PG) Office on 18th of this month. The case was built against the corruption involved in awarding the Zikura Mosque building project while Dr Ziyad was the Islamic Minister back then.
