Since border reopening, records show, 53,050 tourists have arrived in the Maldives.
Speaking at the recent news conference of Health Emergency Operations Centre (HEOC), the speaker of HEOC, Dr. Nazla announced that 53,050 tourists have arrived in the Maldives, since the border reopening.
As per the records of the Tourism Ministry, from 15 July to October 21st, 31,852 tourists have arrived in the Maldives. The Tourism Ministry also stated that most tourists have arrived from Emirates airlines and in October, the most tourist arrivals were from Russia.
Recently Tourism Minister Mausoom has mentioned that so far 12, international airlines are scheduling their flights to the Maldives and he assured that by the end of November 2020, at least 18 Airlines will connect the Maldives to the world.
