The airport cargo department of the Velana International Airport reported additional ten positive cases adding up to a total of 32 positive cases.
Speaking at the recent press conference by the HEOC, spokesperson Dr. Nazla said that on Monday, an additional ten staff was reported positive to Covid-19 from the airport cargo department.
Dr. Nazla added that the airport cargo department reported the first positive case on November 5th, and on November 12th, additional five cases were reported positive. Moreover, on November 13th additional six cases were reported, while on the 14th, seven cases were reported positive from the airport cargo department.
Meanwhile, on November 15th additional three positive cases were reported from the airport cargo department.
Recent records of HPA showed 110 positive cases, which included 31 Maldivians and 79 Foreigners, and so far, Maldives has recorded 45 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
