Jumhooree Party (JP) leader and Maamigili MP Gasim Ibrahim has built a mosque in Maamigili, expanding his contributions to religious infrastructure in the constituency.

The foundation stone for the mosque, named Masjid-e-Zikr, was laid on December 14 last year. Construction was completed in just 57 days, and the mosque officially opened for Maghrib prayers yesterday, with Gasim himself attending the inauguration.

In addition to Masjid-e-Zikr, Gasim is funding the construction of two more mosques in Maamigili. He has also been actively supporting mosque construction and renovation efforts in various parts of the atoll.

Maamigili, home to approximately 2,000 residents, continues to benefit from Qasim’s philanthropic efforts in religious and community development.
