February 10th , the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 100 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.

The total positive cases recorded includes 75 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 25 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 15 people are positive from operational resorts.

With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 17,201 cases, including 2,160 active cases to Covid-19 recorded within the last 24 hours.

So far, HPA has taken 446,805 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 3,703 test samples within the last 24 hours.

HPA also reported that 156 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 14,978.

According to HPA, there are 214 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 56 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
