Bank of Maldives (BML), in partnership with Visa, has launched the Visa Infinite credit card, becoming the first bank in the Maldives to introduce a metal card with premium features. The launch reflects BML’s commitment to offering innovative financial products tailored for affluent customers seeking exclusive privileges and seamless global access.
The Visa Infinite card provides a range of benefits across travel, lifestyle, and entertainment. Cardholders gain VIP access to luxury hotels, fast-track airport services, personalized Meet & Assist, and entry to over 2,000 premium lounges worldwide. Additional perks include priority reservations, exclusive events, spa and golf privileges, elite club memberships, and premium subscriptions for digital services.
BML CEO Mohamed Shareef said the card offers customers an elevated banking experience with luxury privileges designed to enrich lifestyles. Visa Country Manager Avanthi Colombage added that the launch sets a new benchmark for premium digital payment experiences in the Maldives, catering to the growing demand for personalized and high-end services.
This launch builds on BML’s history of pioneering payment solutions in the Maldives, including introducing Visa cards in 2002 and the country’s first Shari’ah-compliant Visa credit card last year. The bank also offers a full range of Visa credit and debit cards, including Classic, Gold, Platinum, and the recently launched Debit Platinum.
