February 24th, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 124 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded include 94 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 30 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 15 people are positive from operational resorts.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 19,162 cases, including 2,449 active cases to Covid-19 recorded within the last 24 hours.
So far, HPA has taken 506,395 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 4,237 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 104 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 16,646.
According to HPA, there are 162 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 60 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
