President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has reiterated his dedication to fulfilling election promises, emphasizing that the trust of Kudarikilu residents will guide his administration’s efforts.

Speaking at Kudarikilu School during his visit to Baa Atoll’s inhabited islands, the President updated the community on stalled water and sanitation projects, announcing work will resume in August and conclude within six months.

He stated that road construction, managed by the Road Development Corporation, will begin after the completion of water and sewerage works.

President Muizzu also highlighted plans for education and health improvements, including a multi-purpose hall following school renovations and a new health centre whose foundation has already been laid. A contract for a new mosque has been signed, awaiting land allocation.

Additionally, he confirmed that work on the football field will start this month, alongside plans for a fitness and recreation centre and a handball court.

The President assured residents that all projects will be executed promptly with close supervision.
