President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has pledged to address harbour concerns in Felidheatholhu Thinadhoo during a meeting with island officials and residents on Friday evening, part of his ongoing tour of the atoll.

Speaking at the gathering held at the harbour area, the President said the Government would give due consideration to the community’s concerns and provide sustainable solutions, noting the harbour as the island’s most pressing issue.

During the visit, President Muizzu inaugurated ATM services on Thinadhoo and announced that a US dollar ATM would be installed before March 2026 to support the island’s growing local tourism sector.

The meeting, attended by the Island Council, institutional heads, and residents, also highlighted the Government’s ongoing infrastructure and healthcare initiatives. The President was accompanied by several Cabinet members and senior government officials.
