The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has placed AA. Thoddoo island under monitoring upon the detection of the Covid-19 case.
As per HPA, the island was placed under monitoring after a person who is living in the same residence as a person in home quarantine tests positive to Covid-19.
Following this, Thoddoo island was placed under monitoring for contact tracing and case investigation. This would be the second time the island has been placed under monitoring this year.
