The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has placed Raa atoll Ungoofaaru island under monitoring upon the detection of the Covid-19 case.
The island was placed under monitoring after a shopkeeper tested positive to Covid-19. As per the information received, the shopkeeper’s husband is known for traveling between Ungoofaaru island and Male’ City.
With the monitoring status, HPA has restricted travel to and from the island. Ungoofaaru island is currently placed under monitoring for contact tracing and case investigation.
