March 26, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 146 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded include 59 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 87 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 10 people are positive from operational resorts and 11 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 23,237 cases, including 2,635 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 630,904 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 2,948 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 90 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 20,529.
According to HPA, there are 100 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 66 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
In addition, 227,696 people across the Maldives have received the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive.
