The Education Ministry of the Maldives declares that the students who are positive will also get the opportunity to sit in the upcoming A Level exams.
Speaking at the last press conference, Deputy Minister of Education, Mohamed Ihsaan said that there will be separate halls for students who are positive to Covid-19, or in home quarantine to take the exams and there will be 33 of these halls across the country. He also assured that the HPA guideline will be followed at all the exam halls along with special preventive measures taken for the exam halls accommodating students who are positive to covid-19 or students that are in home quarantine.
Mohamed Ihsaan further said that currently in Male’ 2 halls are being prepared to conduct the examination for students who are positive to covid-19 or students that are in home quarantine.
Transportation of students from quarantine facilities to the exam halls, will be supported by the Health Emergency Operations Centre (HEOC).
