April 3, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 103 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.

The total positive cases recorded include 58 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 45 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 21 people are positive from operational resorts, and 24 people are positive from inhabited islands.

With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 24,651 cases, including 3,063 active cases to Covid-19.

So far, HPA has taken over 655,000 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 3,570 test samples within the last 24 hours.

HPA also reported that 144 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 21,512.

According to HPA, there are 94 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 67 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
