The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has placed Thaa atoll Kinbidhoo island under monitoring upon the detection of the Covid-19 case.
HPA has confirmed five positive cases from Kinbidhoo Island. Out of which four people were tested with flu-like symptoms. The 5th person who tested positive was a person who traveled from Th. Veymandoo island to Kinbidhoo Island. Th. Veymandoo island is currently on monitoring status as well.
Kinbidhoo island is currently placed under monitoring for contact tracing and case investigation. With the monitoring status, HPA has restricted travel to and from Kinbidhoo island.
