April 11, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 93 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded include 50 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 43 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 22 people are positive from operational resorts, and 21 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 25,617 cases, including 2,990 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 3,516 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 122 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 22,551.
According to HPA, there are 72 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 67 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
