MTCC announces its plan to commence quay wall construction of R. Angolhitheem island Harbour.
MTCC has stated that the pre-cast concrete blocks required for quay wall construction of R. Angolhitheem Harbour was delivered to the project site on April 12. Following which, MTCC have scheduled to commence the installation of pre-cast concrete blocks during this month.
The R. Angolhitheem Harbour project consists of dredging and excavation operations of 42,615 cbm, construction of a 221m breakwater, a 166m revetment, a 91m quay wall, installation of 1110sqm paved area, installation of streetlights and navigation lights.
The MVR 44.7 million project was contracted to MTCC by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.
