April 30, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 465 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded include 193 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 272 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 25 people are positive from operational resorts, and 242 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 29,835 cases, including 4,978 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 3,305 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 72 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 24,775.
According to HPA, there are 146 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 72 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
