The Spokesperson of the President's Office, Mabrook Azeez has assured that the stance of the Maldives is as clear as it was back in 2019, Maldives stand against injustice and in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Tweeting on the topic Mabrook reassured that all relations between Maldives and Israel remain suspended, including the ban on Israeli products. He also said that the Maldives stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people’s struggle to secure their inalienable right to statehood.
While the whole Maldives showed their love for Palestine, calling to free Palestine, Maldives is also one of the smallest developing countries to send aid to Palestine. On behalf of the Maldivians, the International Aid Campaign (IAC) initiated by the Maldives has been providing food to displaced Palestinians. IAC has aided multiple countries in 17 regions over the past four years. In addition, the IAC has today supported in providing electricity to one of the hospitals of Palestine on behalf of the Maldives.
