June 10, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 323 additional cases of Covid-19.

The total positive cases recorded include 163 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 160 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 09 people are positive from operational resorts, and 143 people are positive from inhabited islands.

With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 69,536 cases, including 14,281 active cases to Covid-19.

So far, HPA has taken 3,819 test samples within the last 24 hours.

HPA also reported that 1,663 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 55,055.

According to HPA, there are 115 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 191 deaths from Covid-19 complications.

In addition to this, a total of 313,485 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 175,930 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
