President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih visited Hulhumalé this Sunday and toured the development site for the new Covid-19 medical facility.
The site, previously a distribution center, is being converted into a Covid-19 medical facility in order to provide better care for patients who test positive for the virus and increase the number of beds available.
President Solih was greeted at the site by the Managing Director of Housing Development Corporation (HDC), Suhail Ahmed, the Deputy Managing Director of HDC, Ahmed Athif, and representatives from the planning department of HDC. The President toured the site and inspected the progress of converting the center into a medical facility. He also received the latest progress reports of the ongoing work at the site.
