June 14, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 372 additional cases of Covid-19.
The total positive cases recorded include 125 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 247 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 30 people are positive from operational resorts, and 215 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 70,673 cases, including 8,703 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 5,262 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 992 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 61,761.
According to HPA, there are 82 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 198 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
In addition to this, a total of 314,059 people across the Maldives have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from the nationwide inoculation drive. Out of which, 178,659 people have received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
