Soneva unveils world’s largest overwater villas in Soneva Fushi, located in Baa Atoll Maldives.
The luxury one-bedroom and two-bedroom overwater villas in Soneva Fushi, was opened on 25th September. The one-bedroom overwater villas measure 6,286 square feet and the two-bedrooms at 9,224. Hence as per CNN reports, this is the world's largest overwater villas.
Currently there are 8 of these suites, called overwater villas, available for booking.
These eight large overwater villas are designed with retractable roofs for stargazing from bed along with glass floor panels – allowing for a breathtaking view of coral and fish. These overwater villas come with private outdoor bathtubs, wooden porches with sun loungers, pools and waterslides.
Overwater villas with One-bedroom are available for USD 2,626 per night, while two-bedrooms are available for USD 5,232.
Like all the resorts in Maldives, Soneva Fushi is also a private island which is good news for people who are desperate to travel right now. Maldives has opened its borders to tourists from any country, provided they remain on one island for the duration of their stay.
