Aishath Rizna, Formerly Supreme Court judge, appointed as the chief administrator of Department of Judicial Administration (DJA).
The DJA is now under the administration of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) as per the new amendments to JSC and Aishath Rizna was appointed as the chief administrator of DJA today.
The term of a chief administrator lasts, 5 years, and 30, 500 MVR is paid per month as a salary to the position. This adds up to 47,500 MVR along with allowances.
Interim chief administrator, Dr. Nazeer was dismissed from the post after the amendment to the JSC, brought a permanent chief administrator. DJA was formerly under the Supreme Court.
