August 26, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 108 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 35 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 74 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 14 people are positive from operational resorts, and 59 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 80,436 cases, including 1,684 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 5,681 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 106 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 78,514.
According to HPA, there are 10 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 225 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
