October 19, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 113 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 36 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 77 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 06 people are positive from operational resorts, and 69 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 86,324 cases, including 1,279 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 3,636 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 75 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 84,793.
According to HPA, there are 17 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 239 deaths from Covid-19 complications
