During his official trip to Bangladesh, Vice President Faisal Naseem on Monday visited Bangabandhu Memorial Museum and paid tributes to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Bangabandhu Memorial Museum was the home of Late Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, later converted into a museum. The establishment is a monument celebrating his lifetime of accomplishments and struggles. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman laid the groundwork for Bangladesh to attain independence and is remembered fondly as an icon of democracy and self-determination.

While at the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum, Vice President Faisal Naseem signed the visitors’ book after placing a floral wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu.

“It was enlightening to learn about the life and deeds of Bangladesh’s first President Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, whose selfless efforts paved the way for the country to become an independent nation,” he said.

Vice President Faisal Naseem arrived at the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on Monday on an official visit. He was received by the Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen upon his arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the morning.

The Vice President will meet with cabinet ministers from the government of Bangladesh during this trip, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E Dr. A. K Abdul Momen, the Minister of Expatriate’s Welfare and Overseas Employment, H.E Imran Ahmad, and the Minister of Education, H.E Dr. Dipu Moni. He will also call on the President of Bangladesh, H.E Md. Abdul Hamid, at the Bangladeshi Presidential Palace, Bangabhaban.
