Classes resume for grade 9 to grade 12 in Male’ City today, after a month-long closure.

As per Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives and referring to the current Covid-19 situation in Male’ City, the decision was made to resume classes for key stage 5 and 6 students. Although classes were previously conducted online for key stage 5 and 6 students, they were present physically in schools for further preparations to A Level exams.

Due to covid-19, Maldives has closed all the schools and continued classes through teleclass, online google classroom, and viber. But in the month of July, all the schools reopened and in all the islands other than male,’ continued studies from grade 1 - 12 classes while in Male’ city; studies were continued for only grade 9 - 12 classes.

Meanwhile, considering the increase of covid-19 cases in the greater Male’ area, once again the schools were closed temporarily in the greater Male’ area. The most recent temporary closure was brought into effect on 17th of this month.
