October 5th; Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 37 positive cases from 1,608 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 29 Maldivians and 08 Foreigners.
Total of positive cases records 35 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 02 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maldives have increased up to 10,567. This includes 1,099 active cases to COVID-19 in Maldives.
HPA also reported recovery of 63 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 9,427 people recovered.
Maldives has recorded 34 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
