December 27: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 168 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 44 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 124 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 50 people are positive from operational resorts, and 73 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 95,032 cases, including 2,079 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 4,223 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 121 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 92,679.
According to HPA, there are 08 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 261 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
