Updating the media about the work on Design and Build of Aa. Ukulhas Harbor Quay Wall and Jetty Construction, the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) have stated that the project is well underway, with overall 92% project progress.
MTCC also informed that currently, existing breakwater profiling works are ongoing at the site.
The project was contracted to MTCC by the Ministry of Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure. The value of the project is MVR 19.9 million.
The scope of the project includes, dredging and excavation operations of 19,630cbm; construction of a 31m breakwater; a 136m quay wall; a 138.73m jetty, and installation of 580sqm harbor pavement.
