March 01: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 463 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 29 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 434 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 21 people are positive from operational resorts, and 382 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 170,655 cases, including 14,912 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 2,804 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 569 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 155,433.
According to HPA, there are 13 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 297 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
