The Immigration Department has officially launched passport services in Hanimaadhoo on December 17, expanding access to residents in the northern atolls.
Hanimaadhoo will now serve as a collection point for those wishing to collect passports, joining existing locations in Kulhudhuffushi and Makunudhoo.
The expansion is part of the Immigration Department’s nationwide initiative, launched on November 16, 2024, to provide passport services in all provinces of the Maldives by the end of the year.
