March 08: The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has reported 273 additional cases of Covid-19.
The recorded positive cases include 26 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 247 people outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 14 people are positive from operational resorts, and 225 people are positive from inhabited islands.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 173,337 cases, including 14,383 active cases to Covid-19.
So far, HPA has taken 1,898 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 410 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 158,644.
According to HPA, there are 09 admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 297 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
