October 11th; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 35 positive cases from 1,282 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 27 Maldivians and 08 Foreigners.
Total positive cases were recorded from the greater Male’ area
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Maldives have increased up to 10,894. This includes 1,110 active cases to COVID-19 in the Maldives.
HPA also reported the recovery of 59 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 9,742 people recovered.
There are active COVID-19 cases in 20 resorts and in 21 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. The active cases in resorts include 10 Tourists and 16 staff.
