Maldives Police Service has announced a manhunt for a man on suspicion of homicide.
Police said that they are looking for a 26-year-old Pakistani man named Muhammad Abid following a homicide reported earlier today at a local restaurant. He is accused of stabbing a Bangladeshi waiter at the restaurant.
The victim was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
Police stated that the suspect is deemed dangerous and urged the public not to approach him and call 119 if seen.
