2 man arrested from A.A Bodufulhadhoo Island for the rape and assault of a woman with special needs. Police reported receiving the information of the Wednesday night’s incident.
The incident reports of a woman with special needs taken to the shipyard area of A.A Bodufulhadhoo island, and 2 man forcefully raping her. It was also reported that the 2 men who allegedly raped her, had videoed the incident as well.
So far, 2 local men of age 28 and 23 have been arrested through a court order as per Maldives Police Service. Police mention that the case is being further investigated.
