Prosecutor General (PG), files the court case against former Tourism Minister, Mr. Ali Waheed, following the accuse of sexual abuse and harassment on him.
Police have already said that after investigation, they have sent the case to the PG office, to file the case against Mr. Waheed. Meanwhile, police have not arrested anyone so far, in connection to the case.
During the investigation, Police have enquired 15 other people including Mr. Waheed and through a court order, his home, and his phone and laptops were searched through.
The investigation was initiated from the reports raised against him to the PResident while Mr. Waheed was still running his post as the Minister of Tourism. Following the allegations, the president asked Mr. Waheed to resign from his position, but he was later fired from his position, as he did not resign willingly.
