Ali Shahil (Finifenmaage, F. Nilandhoo), the famous skater arrested in connection with the brutal murder of Shiau, has been ordered to remain in custody till the end case trial.
Shahil's remand hearing was conducted in secret in the Criminal Court today. The Criminal Court ordered Ali Shahil to remain in custody pending trial. The Criminal Court said the judge decided to keep the remand hearing secret at the request of the police.
The 23-year-old Shiau Mohamed Saeed (Shiaa) was brutally murdered in H. Sheerinvilla last night. The woman's neck was severed in the incident, while both her arms and legs were reportedly amputated.
Shahil was arrested at the crime scene in connection with the case.
The incident was reported to the police at 10:30 pm.
