An Indian team that arrived in the Maldives to assist in the investigation of a fire incident affecting three state ministries has concluded its work and departed.
The fire, which broke out at the Housing Ministry, Construction Ministry, and Environment Ministry in the Green Building around 6:30 a.m. on the 12th of this month, was brought under control by the afternoon. The incident resulted in the destruction of important documents and machinery belonging to the three ministries.
Police Commissioner Ali Shujau confirmed the involvement of the Indian team in the investigation, stating that the team collaborated closely with the Maldives Police Service. The special team departed the Maldives on the 22nd of this month.
