Saudullah Ahmed has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Transport.

Saudullah first served as the Chairman of Greater Malay Industrial Zone Limited (GMIZL). However, after the company was dissolved, he was appointed Regional Director of Regional Airports. He resigned from the post on Thursday.

Saudullah, who belongs to the ruling coalition's Jumhuri Party, resigned from the post to take over as Deputy Minister of Transport.

Along with Saudullah four deputy ministers are currently working under the Transport Ministry. They are Hidaya Naseer, Hamad Abdul Ghani and Shimaz Ali.
