Member of Parliament for Sh. Funadhoo constituency, Mohamed Shahid has stated that he has not seen an administration like the current one even in the past almost 50 years.
Speaking in the debate in the Parliament regarding the state budget projected for 2023, Shahid said that the people of Funadhoo have not seen an administration as kind as this one.
According to Shahid, the current government is bringing development to Funadhoo of a kind it has not seen in the past 50 years. He added that the people of Funadhoo are proud of the government.
"Pridefully with their hands on their chests, every citizen is saying they have never seen an administration like this," Shahid said.
Shahid said that even the elderly are saying they do not want any ruler other than President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih. And that even if the whole world was combed through, no one better and more loyal than Ibrahim Mohamed Solih can be found to lead the country.
"There is no one else who can do anything, who can run anything, Mr. Speaker," said Shahid.
Shahid stated that a second term should be given to President Solih for him to continue the work he had started. And for the good of his constituency, Shahid said that he will always advocate for this.
