CEO of Kaani Hotels and Tours, Mr. Abdulla Rasheed elected as the new president of the Guesthouse Association of the Maldives (GAM).
Voting for the by-election of GAM was held on Saturday from 2 pm to 6 pm through a secret ballot voting. During the election, members were elected for five positions at the board of GAM. Out of the 56 members registered in GAM, 51 members voted in the election.
Following the election, the current board of GAM is as follows:
- President: Mr. Abdulla Rasheed.
- Vice President: Mr. Hamza Gasim.
- Secretary-General: Mr. Saud Ahmed.
- Corporate Affairs: Mr. Raaif Waleed.
- Exco members: Mr. Ahmed Samih, and Mr. Ahmed Waheed.
