September 14th; (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; reports 70 positive cases within 24hours. This includes 48 Maldivians and 22 Foreigners.
Total of positive cases records 65 people infected from the greater Male’ area and 5 people infected from outside the greater Male’ area.
With the new update, as per (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; the total infected cases to Covid-19 has reached up to 9,243 in the Maldives. This includes 1,668 active cases to Covid-19.
HPA also reported recovery of 210 infected people adding up to 7,536 as total recovered cases in Maldives.
Currently there are active Covid-19 cases in 32 resorts and in 21 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. 22 Tourists and 50 staff have been tested positive to Covid-19 in the resorts.
Maldives has also recorded 33 deaths from complications of Covid-19.
