A 43 yr old Bangladeshi male declared dead on arrival tested positive for Covid-19.
The Bangladeshi man was brought in an unresponsive state to Hulhumale Hospital Sunday morning and was declared dead on arrival; at 7:25 am.
The recent press conference by the Health Emergency Operation Centre (HEOC) confirmed that this would be the 40th death from complications of Covid -19.
The last person who passed away due to Covid-19 complications was reported at 3:50 pm Friday. He was an 88-year-old man, who was admitted to Hulhumale’ medical facility for further treatment to Covid-19.
So far, over 11,000 cases have been reported positive to Covid-19 in the Maldives.
