There is a lot of support for the President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih because he will develop the Addu city says Parliament Member for Addu maradhoo constituency, Ibrahim Shareef.
Shareef's remarks come at a time when MDP's campaign activities are underway across the island nation. The campaign activities are also underway in Addu city.
Shareef said the people want to bring about a revolutionary change for the economy of Addu city.
Shareef said the government will spend MVR 3 billion on productive infrastructure development in addition to ongoing projects. The leader who will do that is President Solih, he added.
Shareef said Presidents Solih's efforts for the development of Addu city are the reason why the support for the President Solih is increasing.
Under the current administration development projects, there are many projects underway in Addu City currently. Out of the projects, preparations are ongoing to start dredging the land next month. In addition, the city's road development is currently ongoing as well.
