The local man who passed away this Sunday night is the 44th death reported from Covid-19 complications in the Maldives.
The 52-year-old man was admitted to Hulhumale’ medical facility ICU for further treatment to Covid-19, while he passed away at 11:32 pm on Sunday. The Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirms that this would be the 44th death from complications of Covid.
Although the daily positive cases reported have decreased, as per the recent records a total of 12,204 cases have been reported positive to Covid-19 in the Maldives.
