The Finance Ministry has stated that the government has released 1,342.1 million Rufiyaa (1.3 billion MVR) as Covid-19 relief support.
The records published by the Ministry of Finance in celebration of the second year celebration of the government shows that the government has released 1,342.1 million Rufiyaa as Covid-19 relief support. From which, 1,153.2 million Rufiyaa was spent for the Covid-19 recovery loan scheme.
The Finance Ministry records show that the government has disbursed 121.2 million Rufiyaa as income support allowance for the people whose finances have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Finance Ministry has also stated the government has given a discount of 10.2 million Rufiyaa on the water bills and a discount of 48.2 million Rufiyaa for the electricity bills.
The Finance Ministry records show that currently, 476 projects are underway by the government.
