Vice President Faisal Naseem has met with senior officials of the Diabetes Society of Maldives, on Wednesday morning at the President’s Office.
During the meeting, representatives of the Diabetes Society of Maldives discussed with the Vice President about the difficulties and challenges faced by the organization. They further deliberated on formulating a guideline governing the provision of services to diabetes patients.
Speaking at the meeting, the Vice President inquired about the areas the NGO needs assistance and collaboration from Government Offices and institutions. He also assured that the Government would continue to provide any service necessary to the operation of the NGO.
The Vice President extended his appreciation to the NGO and its staff for their invaluable contributions towards creating awareness about the disease and assisting patients.
